Dogs go fishing with CSJ
Salmon and Cod in CSJ’s new
Fish Treats mean lip-smackingly healthy rewards with 100% natural ingredients.
CSJ have again used their expertise in canine activities and nutrition
to ensure that they are catering for the true needs of the dog and owner
and their Fish Treats have even been formulated for dogs of specifically
targeted ages and activity levels.
Made in the UK, CSJ Fish Treats are great for heart, circulation, joint
health, skin and coat - being 90% salmon and cod, 10% gluten free flour
and rich in Omega 3 Oils.
‘Puppy Cookies’ can be soaked and fed to very small puppies, or fed
whole as a treat.
‘Working Supplements’ for active dogs and as a supplement for brood
bitches are already highly recommended by breeders, gundog handlers and
racing husky owners.
‘Treats’ are a scrumptiously healthy reward for all dogs.
‘Trainers’ (perfect for keeping handy in the pocket whilst training
or showing) are mini-cube shaped and can even be soaked if preferred, yet
will still keep their shape.

Having tried these treats myself with my dogs, and feedback from friends
that also tried some sample packs these treats come highly recommended
proving to be very gentle on the tummy causing no ill effects regardless
of the quantity received at any one time. Geoff

Crispy Fish Skins – the crunchy way to dog health
Skye, the Individual World
Champion was given CSJ’s new natural treats by owner Andy Brown when competing
in the recent BSD Agility World Championships in Germany.
CSJ don’t claim that your dog will attain Skye’s heights, but say Crispy
Fish Skins are great as a treat, training aid or food supplement.
Ceri Rundle, working Border Collie trainer and CSJ founder says, “Being
100% fish, rich in Omega 3 and low in fat, they are beneficial for heart,
circulation, joint health, skin and coat…… With the added plus that dogs
will do almost anything for them!
All sizes of dogs, and even puppies can enjoy Crispy Fish Skins, so
owners can fight tooth plaque from their dog’s earliest days and train
or reward them at the same time.”
A handy 500g resealable tub keeps the delicious aroma fresh and CSJ
stockists are already busy reordering as dog trainers, breeders and pet
owners are demanding more.
More information
on these and all CSJ’s food and natural supplement ranges can be found at
Thanks to the helpful advice from Ceri my dogs are now enjoying
a number of CSJ’s products, and are really doing well on them. Finding the
right food for young Bonnie has been a task and a half. Bonnie underwent
major heart surgery last October and has struggled to gain weight ever since.
Her food has to be liquidised, and she will have elevated feeding for the
rest of her life. Ceri organised a number of samples for her to try and she
is managing to keep down 99% of her meals now on CSJ’s Champ Puppy. This is
the most she has ever managed, and she weighed in at 22.6 kilo’s this week,
at her last visit to the vets she was only 16 kilo’s.
Another BIG plus since feeding my dogs CSJ’s foods is the distinct lack
of flatulence, and it is certainly a much more pleasant task picking up
after the dogs ~ Believe me, with 8 dogs in the house this really is a step
in the right direction, we may even get more visitors now?! J

New herbal solutions from CSJ
Does your dog have a leaky
bladder, diahorrea or an allergy? Has it just had an operation or
is prone to kennel cough? Or do you just want extra ‘show condition’?
If so, CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds have launched two new herbal supplements
which could be just ‘the ticket’.
Hold It!
This is a totally natural herbal
blend for the maintenance of the urinary system and is great for those
distressing leaks.
Resist!
This is made from pure Echinacea
and CSJ call it their “miracle product”, since it has already helped to
sort out so many dog’s problems when vets have failed.
Echinacea is well know by herbalists to boost the immune system of humans
and dogs alike, so Resist! helps fight infection and can even aid in building
up immunity against kennel cough as well as promoting a wonderful shiny
coat and is ideal for dogs which seem to be ‘just out of sorts’.
Like the other CSJ natural herbs Hold it! and Resist! are simply sprinkled
on the dog’s normal food and come in resealable 200g pots which last an
average dog approximately 3 months.

Salmon with herbs on the menu
CSJ’s new high-energy food is
downright ‘fishy’ and CSJ are already reporting accolades from owners such
as Wendy Walker who contacted them to say she’d seen a marked difference
in her Springer Spaniels within a week of using it.
With its high salmon content, fishmeal, fish oil and shark cartilage (the
purest and most effective form of Chondroitin), CP30 High Energy Salmon is
exceptionally palatable whilst promoting healthy skin, glossy coats and supple
joints.
This latest addition to CSJ’s Command Performance range is hypo-allergenic
and made in the UK from fully traceable ingredients including whole white
rice, which provides extra energy and is even more easily digested than brown
rice.
A blend of herbs, including Marshmallow and Peppermint, re-inforces the
fish and rice focus on gut health, making CP30 Salmon an excellent option
for dogs with digestive problems as well as the discerning owner with hard
working, breeding or show dogs.

Get the
‘X’ factor for skinny dogs
Regarded as ‘the down to earth
experts’ on nutrition, whose advice is based on real dog experience, CSJ
Specialist Canine Feeds have launched a natural gluten free mixer – called
Xtra.
As a new addition to their Command Performance range of complete food,
Xtra will particularly benefit dogs fed on meat diets and those needing
to carry more body fat – common needs identified by Ceri Rundle, when talking
to owners of problem dogs.
Ceri, who is a multi-award winning dog handler (and the first lady to appear
on One Man and His Dog), evolved CSJ feeds after she realised the need for
better, more cost-effective dog food for her own dogs.
“I now spend many hours talking to dog owners by phone”, says Ceri, “and
one of the most common problems for pet owners is that their dogs remain
too thin, no matter how much they feed. The key is ‘what’ and not just
‘how much’, so Xtra contains slow release carbohydrates such as corn, potatoes
and oats, together with tasty salmon and a balance of vitamins, minerals
and herbs, which can enhance or balance the dog’s existing diet which doesn’t
quite meet its needs.”
