Unlike other products, the ability to make sensitivity and bark frequency adjustments reduces the likelihood of the unit being triggered by noises other than barking. Dogs soon learn that the uncomfortable ultrasonic sound produced by the unit is as an immediate result of its barking. Please note that dogs with hearing difficulties may well ignore the sounds emmitted. This is also true where the problem environment has alot of other loud noises close to the dogs. Please note that in cases where two dogs are barking the use of a spray collar may be more appropriate (see related items below). The latest product designed to control dogs’ nuisance barking. This is not bark control collar!! Bark Free doesn’t attach to the dog and does not use shocks to correct behaviour. Bark Free sits on the counter or mounts outdoors (in a dry area). It uses a specially designed speaker that picks up a dog’s bark and then sends out a corrective tone (audible or ultrasonic) to keep yours or your neighbour’s dog quiet. Can be used for persistent barking problems How it works? When placed near the neighbour’s or your own dog, Bark Free is designed to turn on automatically when barking occurs. Bark Free uses a unique "Bark Pickup Sensitivity Adjustment Selector" which allows the user to set the microphone to activate to the dog’s bark.
