Travelling With Your Dog

talalogoa

It is estimated that as many as 80 percent of dog owners do NOT restrain their dog while in the car -- this places their dogs at unnecessary risk. Most responsible people would never think of having a child in their car unprotected, so why aren't we giving the same care and consideration to our dogs.  They depend on us just like a child.  It is our responsibility as dog owners to keep them safe while in our car.

So what can you do to protect your dog from harm while in your car? - A Dog Seatbelt, or travel cage, or dog guard is the safest way to keep your dog safe while on the road. There are several styles based on the size of your dog and the car you drive.  For safety and comfort on longer journeys it is important to use a purpose-built transport cage in your vehicle.  For shorter journeys a dog guard and a doggie seat belt may be sufficient for your dog needs.
