Vivitonin
This is commonly prescribed to older dogs, it works by increasing blood supply
- and hence oxygen supply - to the brain as well as to the joints, muscles,
and organs. Also said to help improve alertness, responsiveness and
energy levels.
Fitergol
As with Vivitonin, also works by improving blood flow to the brain.
Selgian
The active ingredient, selegilene, was developed for the treatment of Alzheimers
and Parkinson's disease in humans. Selgian is often prescribed for
CCD.
Aktiviat
A supplement said to 'combine all the nutrients necessary for sustaining
optimum brain function during the aging process.
Hillsb/d
Hill's pet nutrition has formulated a special diet packed with antioxidants
pluss other nutrients, which are said to help support ageing brain cells
