Which Hand?

With your hands behind your back,
hide a small treat in one hand and then present both closed fists to your
dog. Decide beforehand whether you want him to indicate using his paw or
his nose. As soon as he touches one of your hands using the method you want,
turn over your hand, open your palm and if the treat's there, let him eat
it! If it's not, chances are he'll go right for the other hand. Be sure to
only reward one method -- paw or nose. Once the dog has the basic idea, you
can shape a gentler nose-push or a softer paw (important if your dog is enthusiastic).
